As we’re nearing the end of 2022, we look back on another eventful year with plenty of opportunities for us to meet and interact with our partners and customers across the additive market.

Sandvik and BEAMIT Group are once again co-exhibiting at the world-leading additive manufacturing (AM) event Formnext 2022. The Sandvik-BEAMIT booth D21 in hall 11 will demonstrate the very latest from the companies’ offering along the additive value chain.

Sandvik is once again joining forces with part subsidiary BEAMIT Group as the two co-exhibit at Rapid + TCT 2022, May 17-19, in Detroit, USA. The Sandvik-BEAMIT booth will be filled with industrial additive customer cases in a wide range of materials, to showcase the duo’s leading expertise and offering along the additive value chain.

Another year is coming to an end, and it’s high time to summarize the highlights. Let’s have a closer look at some of the key events for Sandvik Additive Manufacturing and our growing additive family throughout the year!

Sandvik continues to invest in metal powder capacity for additive manufacturing (AM) by installing two additional atomization towers at the production site in Neath, U.K. This expansion follows a recent investment in a new plant for the manufacturing of titanium and nickel-based alloys for AM, in Sandviken, Sweden.

Sandvik and the BEAMIT Group – now also including 3T Additive Manufacturing – return to Frankfurt for the world-leading additive manufacturing event of Formnext 2021.

Sandvik Additive Manufacturing is further strengthening the sales organization for its wide range of Osprey^® metal powders, to meet the increasing demand for metal powder.

Sandvik and part subsidiary BEAMIT Group announce a unique capability to additively manufacture components in super-duplex stainless steel. The components printed in Osprey^® 2507 metal powder – known and trusted for its excellent corrosion resistance and durability.

The BEAMIT Group has acquired 3T Additive Manufacturing from AM GLOBAL, creating one of the most integrated and advanced additive manufacturing service providers in the world. In 2019, Sandvik acquired a significant stake in the BEAMIT Group, establishing a strong industrial partnership with leading capabilities across the AM value chain.
