Osprey® 713C is a precipitation hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy characterized by excellent resistance to oxidation and thermal fatigue resistance as well as high rupture strength and structural stability at high temperature. The alloy is typically used in gasoline turbo chargers. Osprey® 713C is an alloy of the same type as Inconel® 713C*.

Osprey® metal powder is manufactured by Inert Gas Atomization (IGA), producing a powder with a spherical morphology which provides good flow characteristics and high packing density. In addition, the powder has a low oxygen content and low impurity levels, resulting in a metallurgically clean product with enhanced mechanical performance.

*Inconel is a trademark owned by Huntington Alloys Corporation.
